Biography:
Love and marriage, the Parks were probably the happiest family in Daegu, the father being a hard working man in the law world, mother being just as hard working in the culinary world. When Sojin was born, she was their first child, first daughter and the first in line to inherit any money once they pass on. Creative but an introvert was the best way to describe Sojin as a child, but she never came off as unfriendly. She would do best in situations where one person came to speak to her as opposed to when her parents' friends would crowd her, cooing at her and going on about how cute she was. There was one boy she became friends with, he was the son of her father's best friend, the two of them became quite inseparable. Little did their little minds process just how close they would become in the future.
School, they went to two different elementary schools, but they would meet up once school let out and walk home together since they lived on the same street. Often times before they went home, they would stop at the park that was on the way, share some snacks and talk about absolutely nothing, like most kids would do. On the days it rained, they would run with him holding his book bag over her head to keep her hair from getting wet, since her mother always did it so nicely, as he would often tell her.
Little brother? Yeah, that happened. And boy was Sojin a jealous older sister, but she loved the heck out of that kid and would burn anyone alive that tried to hurt him. He was adorable, sweet and funny. They would go on to have one another's backs no matter would, as dongsaeng and nona should, right? Of course, that meant keeping the secret that Sojin dropped him on purpose that day her parents blamed themselves for asking her to hold him when she was 'too small' to have that kind of responsibility.
Middle school, the first crush, and no it wasn't on her best friend, it was on one of the smartest boys in school who was known for his bad attitude and tough exterior. Of course Sojin didn't care, she was a young girl who thought he was cute, and would stare at him during class, even write little notes about him in her notebook. One day, she finally got the courage to speak to this cool guy and all he did was snap at her for being an 'annoyance', and so she went home crying. Best friend was still there though, he always would be.
Fast forward into adulthood, and what happened? Of course, best friend married Sojin fresh out of college, where she studied journalism and he studied computer science. The two of them were so very happy and two years into their marriage, she was pregnant with their son. The marriage only lasted two more years after that, he cheated, she left, and decided to pursue college once again, majoring in something that had her interest before, but he wouldn't allow her to study because it was 'too manly'. Mechanical Engineering. Oh, and she got their house in the settlement, as well as the last laugh. She found sisterhood with the Kappa Delta girls, who made her feel comfortable and safe despite her past. While living on campus, she had her son staying the night at her home with her mother, but she moved back into her own place once she became a junior and was able to do so.
